Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District is proud to offer nutritious meals to our students!

There are many exciting updates underway or the school nutrition program and we invite students, parents, family members, and the community to check the Food Services website frequently for new announcements.

 

 

 

 ** 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR UPDATE **

FREE MEALS FOR ALL!

The district is pleased to announce that any student 18 years of age and under may pick-up a FREE breakfast and lunch! This program will run throughout the 2020-2021 school year!

 

Summary of Food Services, beginning Monday, March 12th 

ELEMENTARY

Effective 4/19/21 for all hybrid students returning for full-day instruction:

  • Cafeteria service (hot school lunch) daily. Students to receive a week’s worth of snacks on Mondays.
  • No curbside service
  • No meal service on Wednesdays. For anyone interested in a meal, please visit a curbside meal location at any of our intermediate or high schools.
  • No meal service on Minimum Days

** Curbside meal service will continue at elementary schools with 4th and 5th grade AM/PM cohorts through 4/23/21.

INTERMEDIATE

Effective 4/26/21

  • Cafeteria service (hot school lunch) daily
  • Curbside 11:00am-1:00pm daily Monday through Friday
  • No meal service on Minimum Days

PALOS VERDES HIGH SCHOOL

Effective 4/12/21

  • Cafeteria service (hot school lunch) during Nutrition Break and Lunch
  • Curbside 11:00am-1:00pm daily Monday through Friday
  • No meal service on Minimum Days

PENINSULA HIGH SCHOOL

Effective 4/19/21

  • Cafeteria service (hot school lunch) during Panther Time and Lunch
  • Curbside 11:00am-1:00pm daily Monday through Friday
  • No meal service on Minimum Days

DLA/IS STUDENTS

  • Curbside 11:00am-1:00pm daily Monday through Friday at any of our intermediate or high schools

 

Proper PPE, physical distancing, and strict food safety protocols will be in place for the safety of our staff, students, and families. Students and families who pick up meals will be required to wear a mask.

All meals include a main entree, milk, and seasonal fruit and vegetable offering. We encourage your student to try our well-balanced and healthful meals to help them succeed with instruction and beyond.
